Overtrace

Privacy Policy

Last updated 24 September 2026

Overtrace does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data. There is no account, no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party SDK of any kind.

What stays on your device

Reference images you add and the work settings Overtrace saves for them are stored only on the device where you added them. Overtrace does not upload that library anywhere. Deleting the app removes this local data.

Camera and photos

Camera access is used only to show the live view you trace on top of. The camera image is displayed on screen and is never recorded, saved, or transmitted by Overtrace. Photo library access is used only when you choose a picture to use as a reference. If the selected picture is stored in iCloud Photos, Apple Photos may retrieve it before passing the selected image to Overtrace.

Tracking

Overtrace does not track you. The app's privacy manifest declares NSPrivacyTracking = false, an empty list of collected data types, and a single accessed API category — UserDefaults, declared under reason CA92.1, used to remember your own settings on this device.

Purchases

Weekly, monthly, and annual subscriptions and the one-time Lifetime purchase are processed by Apple. Overtrace never sees your payment details. Apple's privacy terms govern those transactions.

Children

Overtrace is rated 4+ and contains no user-generated social content, no social features, and no advertising.
